first shabbat as israelis

We were in town and some guy was break dnacing rather poorly, it was quite the pitiful site. He was trying to collect money but was only recieving stares! (shout out to my zumba friends !) than this religious looking guy jumps in and starts dancing. Before we knew it, the entire sorounding area was dancing (seperately of course!) it was great entertainment accompanying our icecream!

i am still figuring out the iphone thing..get photos from there have not figured it out --any one know how to load photos from iphone directly to blog or easiest way to do so?? I will post some pictures when i figure it out (sorry)so we have been eating, walking, eating, eating, drinking lots of  water (although we hear ny is hotter) and doing not so much of the sleeping thing..although the kids are starting to get a hang of the time difference..yay ! so what have we been doing..
Friday was nice we hung out in town and than got ready for shabbat. ez played some guitar overlooking yerushalyim and we were invited out by our good fireinds the siegels from queens realtives (jazelle and david). The men davened at the kotel so we finally began eating at 10 pm wiht randi and jhonny and netanel mass and jazelle and david and family. We had a great time and enjoyed a home cooked meal. exhausted, we headed home and finally got into bed at almost 2 AM! (and yes, the kids were still awake when we got home!!!!) shabbat lunch randi and jhonny made food and braught it over here and we had a great time.  we were so tired that we all passed out in the afternoon..ok well, ilana and ezra and yedidya fell asleep..not quite sure what th kids were doing, but everything was pretty much where we left it.. the kids went to the park in the afternoon.  THey were a bit intimidated by the loud israelis on the carousella (like a merry go round but manual i guess and wihtout hoarses..) but within 15 minutes, shalhevet was hanging off the edge of it and enjoying the kids' company a lot. Meemer and yedidya made friends on the park with kids their age, meemer was invtied by a cutie to play on the slide (she spoke in hebrew to him) and yedidya smiled at a baby his age. Kids finally slep through the night... on sunday we wnet to the old city and then met Aunt Brenda for dinner at cafe rimon in the new fancy pedestrian mall mamilla.  We ate overlooking the old city walls of yerushalyim. Outside the restaraunt, a lady was blowing huuuge bubbles which the kids had a great time popping. After dinner, we met up with Rafi Herskovits for more icecream ?*(and yes we have had icecream everyday since we have come) ez and ilana (and yedidya)split but couldnt finish a french crepe yuuuuuuum..and the girls had icecream again. monday we finalized reservations in rimonim hotel in tiberias..and have been working on activities around the area. We all went to gan haatzamaut where we flew a kite, had delicious grapes and cherries and played catch with our new rackets/ball sets (thanks grandpa H) after our relatives eliku and nitza bitanski came wiht richie (puppy). Shalhevet and meemer had a great time as they got to walk the dog, run wiht him in the park, play catch wiht our drinking bottles (um,..yeah we need to buy new ones now) and pet and cuddled wiht him.. I think the kids no longer are afraid of dogs! After the park , we came back to the apartmenet and nitzah "cooked" frozen food for the girls and hung out for a little. Its been so great to tango/skype wiht everyone! i need more peoples contact info and for people to download skype/tango on their smartphones and add me as contact wiht ilanaherskovits@yahoo.com as email and 011972529551406 as contact number..that way we can talk for free. with a video, also download what's app..you can than send pic and video messgaes and text for free unlimitied!

ok since its only 11..have the whole night ahead of me, maybe ill go to sleep..nah!
